Easter Sunday saw a trip over to Lost Ark Games at Stevenage for our bi-weekly Bolt Action wargaming session. Four of us indulged in a 15mm Tank Wars game, Russians -v- Germans. The game runs exactly the same as Bolt Action except that movement is measures in centimeters while firing distance is measured in inches.
This Sunday is the third Sunday meeting at Lost Ark Games and we are planning on doing some Bolt Action Tank wars but with 15mm (or 1/100) scale models rather than the Bolt Action 1/56th standard.
We had our second games day at Lost Ark Games in Stevenage. This time I took Mark, my regular opponent at Letchworth Wargames Club, over to the shop for a Sunday spent playing Bolt Action.

What with one thing and another, Christmas being one, I haven't been to the Wargames club for a few weeks, so it was good to get back down there on a foggy and damp Wednesday night.
I got a nice little surprise in the post today. A few weeks ago Blitzkrieg Miniatures had a 50% off everything sale so I ordered some reinforcements for my British Army.
Blitzkrieg Miniatures produce a range of 1/56 (and 1/48) scale WWII armour out of resin. Their tanks are around £20 - £22 each but most Mondays they have a half-price sale on one specific model.
