When I bought the Hanomag 251/1 D, I also bought myself a Puma armoued car.
When I used to build kits as a teenager I’d never come across this vehicle and it wasn’t until recently when I discovered Bolt Action that I heard of it. It seems that it might be a good addition to my German army so here it is.
It’s a post 1943 vehicle, apparently produced in Czecholslovakia. It came with 100mm of front armour and was armed with a 50mm anti-tank gun.
I put it together fairly soon after getting my hands on it. The kit has quite a few more parts than an average warlord Games vehicle; the wheel configuration is a little fiddly and it might have been helpful to realise the suspension needs go be glued on before the axles as I did it the wrong way round the first time and fitting the axles was really fiddly with the suspension in place.
It has now been undercoated. It currently sits on the work bench waiting for the shading and weathering.
