Blitzkrieg Miniatures produce a range of 1/56 (and 1/48) scale WWII armour out of resin. Their tanks are around £20 - £22 each but most Mondays they have a half-price sale on one specific model.
We had a game of Bolt Action down the wargame club this week. After an absence of about five weeks it was good to get some more wargaming in. The only problem was that because of the time we haven't played we had forgotten some of the game mechanics.

The Warlord/Italeri 1/56th scale KV-1/KV-2 Heavy Tank kit comes with two turrets to make either the KV-1 or the larger KV-2 and as the turrets are interchangeable, it means you can field either version.
I got the Russian armour some months ago and have built them up and painted them. As a Bolt Action beginner I've not yet had the chance to game with this one yet but am managing to build up a fairly substantial Russian force.
This week I took my newly painted US Airborne Platoon down to the Wargames Club. I replaced the GI section I used last time with a squad of the new 101st Airborne so I had a completely airborne 100pts army.
