Two or three months ago I bought myself a box of the warlord Game 28mm metal Waffen SS figures.

The Warlord/Italeri 1/56th scale KV-1/KV-2 Heavy Tank kit comes with two turrets to make either the KV-1 or the larger KV-2 and as the turrets are interchangeable, it means you can field either version.
I got the Russian armour some months ago and have built them up and painted them. As a Bolt Action beginner I've not yet had the chance to game with this one yet but am managing to build up a fairly substantial Russian force.
This week I took my newly painted US Airborne Platoon down to the Wargames Club. I replaced the GI section I used last time with a squad of the new 101st Airborne so I had a completely airborne 100pts army.

This week at the wargames club, I took my American Airborne troops out for their first ever battle. They took on Mark's 1,000pt German five-dice army including his Tiger.
I've been a bit busy the last couple of weeks so have missed going to the wargames club. I got back into it this week with my second ever game of Bolt Action.
