It looks like I have a lot of painting to do. This is my current army to oppose some of my Romans and is made up of Greek & Spartan Hoplites.
Victrix make some wonderful 28mm figures. I first came across them when I decided to get back into Napoloenic wargame figure collecting and got some boxes of their French Napoleonic figures.
For the last week or 10 days I have been mainly building ancient Greek Hoplites.
My first game of Bolt Action took place at Letchworth Wargames Club last night. I took my Russian army to put them against an army of Germans owned by Mark.
My Russian Bolt Action army is now almost complete. I've spent the last few days finishing off the rest of my unpainted figures. I completed the tanks last week with some weathering and wanted to finish off the infantry so I can field an army at the next meeting of the Wargames Club in Letchworth.
I wanted to sort out some trees for my terrain. As I've been working on my hex terrain, I haven't done anything about putting something of interest on it.
I've almost completed my first wargame board made from the Hex Terrain Toolkit I helped to fund on Kickstarter last September.
My first Roman figures have been put together, they are the Imperial Roman Veterans from Warlord Games 'Hail Caesar' series.
Salute is the country's largest wargaming show and us run by the South London Warlords wargame club each year. I've never been before so this was a first for me. It was also my first time on the Docklands Light Railway.
Since I got my Hex Terrain Toolkit, I have been spending most of my free time making terrain hexes for my first wargaming table.
