What with one thing and another, Christmas being one, I haven't been to the Wargames club for a few weeks, so it was good to get back down there on a foggy and damp Wednesday night.
I got a nice little surprise in the post today. A few weeks ago Blitzkrieg Miniatures had a 50% off everything sale so I ordered some reinforcements for my British Army.
Blitzkrieg Miniatures produce a range of 1/56 (and 1/48) scale WWII armour out of resin. Their tanks are around £20 - £22 each but most Mondays they have a half-price sale on one specific model.
My first order of Wild West figures came from Artizan's Wild West range. I got them from North Star Figures and opted for two packs of Pinkerton Detectives and two packs of Cowboys which included Wild Bill Hickok and Doc Holliday.
I started making these hills about a month ago. It's one of those little projects you can do a little bit of work on, put aside and resume whenever you get a bit of time.
I was so taken with the Wild West Skirmish game we played recently that I decided we needed some terrain. I'm currently into making terrain with underfloor heating insulation foam which I used to make my hex terrain wargaming table. I just lacked some plans.
